When you can schedule
You schedule only after DBPR has approved your Sales Associate Initial Application (RE 1) for exam eligibility. DBPR examination information says candidates become eligible to schedule with Pearson VUE within 72 hours after the department approves the examination application (source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/examination-information/, opened 2026-10-14). Filing RE 1 and completing Livescan come before this step. Full RE 1 guide: /learn/florida-real-estate/dbpr-re-1-application. How to book with Pearson VUE
Florida sales associate exams are computer-based at Pearson VUE physical test centers only (no online remote option on the Florida real estate hub opened 2026-10-14). Schedule online at https://home.pearsonvue.com/fl/realestate or call 888-204-6289. Pearson Customer Care hours on that hub: Monday through Friday 8am to 11pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm (Eastern). Appointments may be made up to 1 calendar day before the day you wish to test, subject to availability. Have your candidate identification number, full name, daytime phone, preferred test center, and a credit card, electronic check, or voucher ready. You receive an email confirmation with the date and test center. Confirm live details on the Pearson Florida hub the day you book.
Fee, length, and pass cut
The published Sales Associate exam administration fee is $36.75 (source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/servop/testing/documents/CBT_exam_admin_Fee_2016.pdf, updated 2022-09-08, opened 2026-10-14). Confirm the live Pearson cart when you pay. The Candidate Information Booklet describes one sitting of 100 multiple-choice questions with about 3.5 hours to finish (source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/servop/testing/documents/RE_sales_cibs.pdf, effective January 2025, opened 2026-10-14). A score of 75 points or higher out of 100 passes. Casa's school final uses a separate 70% bar and is not the state exam. Do not mix them. What to bring (certificate every time)
Bring two forms of valid signature identification, one government-issued, with the name and address matching your application. Bring your Certificate of Pre-Licensing Education Completion (or Florida Bar card or letter of equivalency if that path applies). The CIB says you must present the pre-licensure completion certificate at the test center every time you sit, even if authorization to test is still valid. The course certificate is good for two years from the completion date. An expired certificate will keep you from sitting, and you still owe that day's exam fee. Arrive about 30 minutes early. Report to the center with the documents listed in the live CIB before you leave home.
Cancel, reschedule, and retakes
Pearson Florida real estate hub (opened 2026-10-14): there is no charge to cancel or reschedule if you notify Pearson VUE at least 2 full calendar days before the appointment (not including the day of the call or the day of the appointment). Later changes or a no-show may forfeit the exam fee. If you fail, you retake the full exam through Pearson scheduling. Shelf and CIB-aligned guidance used across these guides includes a 24-hour wait before sitting again and no published attempt cap on the pages opened for this shelf. Confirm any wait or fee when you rebook. Exam review of missed questions, if you want it, must be requested within 21 days of the exam per the CIB.
What Casa Academy includes (checked 2026-10-14)
Public tuition on the English and Spanish enroll pages is $199 for the current cohort (sources: https://casaacademy.com/enroll/florida-63-hour-pre-licensing-course and https://casaacademy.com/enroll/spanish, opened 2026-10-14). After that cohort fills, the published next price is $249. One payment. Klarna is offered at checkout. The $199 checkout includes the 63-hour DBPR-approved course, access until you finish, 650+ practice questions, a timed full exam weighted to Florida chapter weights, a ChatGPT tutor in every lesson, SM-2 flashcards, and English or Spanish as two full courses (0032664 / 0032665 under school license ZH1003169). Seven-day refund via support@onlinerealestateschool.com. School final pass bar is 70%. Do not mix that with the Pearson cut of 75 correct out of 100.
What Casa tuition does not include
DBPR RE 1 ($62.75, source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/re/documents/DBPR_RE_1_Sales_Associate_Application.pdf, opened 2026-10-14), Livescan fingerprints (provider prices vary), Pearson VUE exam fee ($36.75, source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/servop/testing/documents/CBT_exam_admin_Fee_2016.pdf, updated 2022-09-08, opened 2026-10-14), post-licensing, continuing education, broker coursework, MLS access, and Realtor association dues are separate. Casa does not sell those state or association fees inside the $199 checkout. You can schedule Pearson and finish every state step with any DBPR-approved school certificate; this page stays useful if you never buy Casa.
