Direct answer
The Florida sales associate state exam requires 75 correct answers out of 100 scored questions, so you can miss 25 and still pass. The school end-of-course final is a different test with its own pass bar, commonly 70%, and is not the Pearson VUE cut.
State exam cut: 75 correct out of 100
The Candidate Information Booklet grades the Sales Associate exam on 100 points for a perfect score. You need 75 points or higher to pass (source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/servop/testing/documents/RE_sales_cibs.pdf, opened 2026-10-14). That is 75 correct out of 100 scored questions in about 3.5 hours, which means you can miss 25. Pearson VUE delivers the exam at physical test centers after DBPR approves your RE 1 application. The published exam administration fee is $36.75 (source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/servop/testing/documents/CBT_exam_admin_Fee_2016.pdf, updated 2022-09-08, opened 2026-10-14). Confirm the live Pearson cart when you pay. Florida sales associate scoring is a raw point total, not a scaled score. Miss math in plain terms
100 scored questions. Pass at 75 correct. Miss up to 25 and you still pass. Miss 26 or more and you fail that sitting. After a fail, Pearson scheduling rules apply, including a 24-hour wait before the next attempt. Bring your school completion certificate to every sitting. School final is different
Your Florida real estate school gives the end-of-course final after the 63-hour coursework. Florida schools commonly require 70% on that school final before issuing a pre-license certificate. Passing the school final is not a Florida license and is not a Pearson pass. Do not treat a 70% school result as if it were 75 correct on the state exam. What happens after you pass Pearson
Pearson gives an official photo-bearing result report at the test center. Passing the state exam still leaves your license inactive until you affiliate with a broker. Full path after coursework: file RE 1, complete Livescan, wait for DBPR eligibility, schedule Pearson, pass, then join a broker. DBPR RE 1 ($62.75, source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/re/documents/DBPR_RE_1_Sales_Associate_Application.pdf, opened 2026-10-14), Livescan fingerprints (provider prices vary), Pearson VUE exam fee ($36.75, source: https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/servop/testing/documents/CBT_exam_admin_Fee_2016.pdf, updated 2022-09-08, opened 2026-10-14), post-licensing, continuing education, broker coursework, MLS access, and Realtor association dues are separate. Casa does not sell those state or association fees inside the $199 checkout. You can finish every state step with any DBPR-approved school certificate; this page stays useful if you never buy Casa.
