Your first step: Florida's 63-hour course.

Complete your required education here. Your license also requires a state application and exam; those fees are separate from tuition.

Your path to a Florida license

From your first lesson to an active license.

Your course certificate is the first milestone. Here's what comes next.

  1. 1

    Get your Pre-License Certificate

Complete this 63-hour pre-license course and pass the final exam to receive the certificate you need for the Florida state exam.

    Sample certificate
  2. 2

Apply to DBPR and get fingerprinted

Submit your DBPR application, then arrange fingerprinting directly with an FDLE-approved Livescan provider. You can start this while studying.

  3. 3

    Pass the Florida state exam

Once DBPR approves your application and you have your course certificate, schedule your exam with Pearson VUE.

  4. 4

Activate your license with a broker

After you pass the state exam, your license is INACTIVE until you affiliate with a real estate broker. We will find you a brokerage to hang your license with, so you can activate it and start your real estate career.

Tuition covers your course and included study tools. DBPR application, fingerprinting, and state-exam fees are paid separately to the relevant providers.

FAQ

Answers before you enroll

What do I need to start?

Choose English or Spanish, enroll online, and start at your own pace on a phone, tablet, or computer with internet access. You do not need a broker or fingerprints to start the course. To apply for a Florida sales associate license, you must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a U.S. Social Security number.

Is the Spanish course entirely in Spanish?

Yes. Select Español before enrolling. The lessons, end-of-course final exam, practice exams, and flashcards are all in Spanish and included in that course. English and Spanish are separate courses; changing the website language does not translate an English course you already purchased. Contact us if you enrolled in the wrong language.

Do you offer in-person classes?

This course is 100% online and self-paced. You can enroll and begin without visiting a classroom. Fingerprinting appointments and the separate state licensing exam are arranged with their respective providers.

Do you give me a certificate or a license?

We issue your course completion certificate after you complete the required coursework and pass the course final exam. Keep it for your state exam; it is valid for two years after completion. DBPR issues the real estate license after you meet its separate requirements. The course final and state exam are two different exams.

How do I book fingerprints, or follow up after paying?

Submit your DBPR license application first, then book directly with an FDLE-approved Livescan provider. Use real estate ORI FL920010Z. Paying for the course or state application does not book a fingerprint appointment. If you paid a fingerprint provider but received no appointment details, contact that provider with your receipt. If already scanned, ask the provider about submission status and your transaction control number (TCN). Official fingerprint instructions and provider list ↗

Is this course DBPR-approved?

Yes. Casa Academy (Florida school permit ZH1003169) is a DBPR-approved provider and this course satisfies Florida's 63-hour pre-licensing education requirement for Sales Associates.

Does the exam prep come with the course?

Yes. Our 650-question bank, topic drills, full-exam simulator, and ChatGPT-powered tutor are all bundled with the pre-licensing course. You don't need to buy a separate exam prep.

How long do I have to finish?

Work at your own pace. Finish in a few weeks of focused effort or spread it across a couple of months. Your access stays yours until the course is complete.

What happens after I pass the course?

Use your certificate and DBPR application approval to take the separate state exam with Pearson VUE. Passing does not automatically authorize you to practice: your license remains inactive until activated with a broker. We can help you understand your brokerage options. After licensing, complete the required 45-hour post-license education before your first renewal, even if your license is inactive.

Can I really take it on Spotify?

Yep. Audio lessons stream on Spotify so you can make progress during commutes, workouts, or wherever you can't stare at a screen.

What if it's not a fit?

Full refund within 7 days of purchase. Email us and we'll refund you in full. No questions, no hoops.

Do I need to create an account before paying?

No. Pay as a guest and we'll help you set up your account right after checkout so you can start the course.
