End-of-course examination policy
End-of-course examinations for Commission-prescribed courses are administered through our LMS and governed by FAC 61J2-3.008 (Course I pre-license and post-license) and 61J2-3.009 (continuing education), as applicable.
- Passing score: Course I (63-hour sales associate pre-license) requires 70% to pass. Post-license courses require 75%. Continuing education requires 80%.
- Timed sitting: Pre-license and post-license finals are administered as a single timed sitting (three hours for a 100-item exam, consistent with the 1.8-minute-per-item cap in 61J2-3.008(4)(d)). The timer auto-submits when time expires.
- No in-exam aids: Students may not use notes, textbooks, tutors, or other aids during the graded end-of-course examination. Answer keys are not disclosed to students before or after a failed attempt on secured finals.
- Required attestation: Before starting the timed final, each student must submit the following certification verbatim: “I certify that I personally completed all assignments and have not duplicated any portion of the end-of-course examination prior to the taking of the final examination.”
- Identity affirmation: Before starting the timed final, each student must affirm: “I affirm that I am the person enrolled in this course and that I am personally taking this examination.”
- Retake rules (Course I): A student receives two attempts at the end-of-course examination (original plus one retest). The retest must be taken at least 30 days after the original attempt and within one year of the original attempt. If both attempts are failed, or the one-year window expires, the student must repeat the course before testing again. The retest is served a different examination form.
Enrollment, course number & expiration
Pursuant to FAC 61J2-3.008(4)(c), upon enrollment in any approved course we notify the student of that course's DBPR course number and current course-approval expiration date in the purchase receipt and account-setup email. The approved course numbers and expirations are listed in the table above. For questions, contact support@onlinerealestateschool.com.
