Alternative to Colibri Real Estate, and how to switch

Colibri prices on the Florida license page

The live pricing blocks on https://www.colibrirealestate.com/real-estate/florida/license/ showed these regular and discounted prices on 20 October 2026. The Basics, product 8613-6-FL-4-3: regular $165, discounted $99. Exam Preparation, product 17565-6-FL-4-3: regular $248.34, discounted $149. Exam Preparation Plus, product 17566-6-FL-4-3: regular $315, discounted $189. Ultimate Learning, product 17567-6-FL-4-3: regular $448.34, discounted $269. The discount blocks carry a 40% promo rate. Cite the regular price and the promo price separately. Recompute if either sticker moves.

The Basics is the required 63-hour coursework without the extra exam-prep stack. Exam Preparation adds simulated exams, flashcards, and a Readiness Tracker. Exam Preparation Plus adds live instructor Q and A and an Exam Cram webinar series. Ultimate Learning adds a printed textbook and a career booster pack. Casa's $199 checkout is one package, not four tiers.

What the Casa alternative includes

Public tuition on the English and Spanish enroll pages is $199 for the current cohort, then $249 after it fills. One payment. The checkout includes the 63-hour course, access until you finish with no fixed 6-month clock, 650+ practice questions, a timed full exam weighted to Florida chapter weights, a ChatGPT tutor in every lesson, SM-2 flashcards, and English or Spanish as two full courses. English is 0032664. Spanish is 0032665. School license ZH1003169. Provider 0010716. The tutor can talk in many languages. The course itself is English or Spanish only, not every language. Seven-day refund via support@onlinerealestateschool.com.

Against The Basics at $165, Casa at $199 costs about thirty-four dollars more. Against the $99 promo on The Basics, the gap is wider. Against Exam Preparation at $248.34, Casa at $199 is about fifty dollars less. That is the fair compare if you want simulated exams in the Colibri ladder. Do not collapse the promo into the list price and then declare a winner.

Switching from Colibri without losing the state path

Colibri's refund policy, opened the same day, says self-paced online students have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. Virtual livestream refunds are a shorter rule on that same page: within 24 hours after the first livestream class. Read the rest of the policy before you assume a package qualifies. A refund is school money. It is not a Pearson score.

If Colibri already reported a completed 63-hour course to DBPR, you do not retake pre-license in order to switch brands. Keep the completion certificate. If you are in the middle of the course, Casa does not inherit those unfinished hours. You would start Casa's 63-hour course from the beginning, or you would finish Colibri. Partial progress is not a transferable balance.

Gold Coast's online pre-license has been described as running on Colibri's platform while Gold Coast remains its own school. Real Estate Express is now Colibri. If you think you bought Express or Gold Coast online, confirm which school will report your certificate before you request a refund from the wrong desk. The parent comparison is /learn/florida-real-estate/vs/colibri-real-estate.

State fees sit outside both schools

RE 1 is $62.75 on the application PDF. Livescan prices vary. Pearson is $36.75. The 45-hour post-license course, 14-hour CE, broker coursework, MLS access, and Realtor dues are separate. Colibri tuition does not pay those. Casa tuition does not pay those. You can finish the 63-hour requirement at any approved school.

School final, promo, and Pearson are three different lines

Florida schools commonly require 70% on the school final. Colibri's own Florida page describes a pre-license final of at least 100 questions at 70%, separate from the state exam. Pearson is 100 scored questions, about 3.5 hours, 75 correct to pass.

Colibri also markets a Pass or Don't Pay line on select packages. Read that offer as Colibri's terms. It does not change the Pearson cut, and it is not Casa's policy. Casa's published window is the 7-day refund above.

A switch checklist

Write down the purchase date and whether the course was self-paced or livestream. Open the refund page and see if day 30 has passed. Download any completion certificate already issued. If there is no certificate, decide whether to finish Colibri or start over at another approved school. Compare The Basics and Exam Preparation as separate products against Casa's single $199 list. Then add RE 1, fingerprints, and Pearson on top, because those bills arrive either way.
