Use this breakdown to estimate a first Florida sales associate license attempt. Casa tuition comes from the live course offer. Government and exam fees below were checked on 2026-09-15. Fingerprint vendors set their own prices. This is not a quote and not a cap on what you will spend.

Pay the school for the 63-hour course. Pay DBPR $62.75 for RE 1. Pay your Livescan provider for fingerprints (or $36 only if you use DBPR headquarters in Tallahassee). Pay Pearson VUE $36.75 per state-exam reservation.

Passing your school's 63-hour course and school final is not the same as holding an active Florida sales associate license. After the course you still submit RE 1, complete electronic fingerprints, wait for DBPR eligibility, pay Pearson and pass the state exam, then affiliate with a Florida licensed broker to activate. Completing the course does not authorize you to sell real estate.
