South Carolina Real Estate Practice Exam

South Carolina associate candidates take a national section and a South Carolina state section during one computer-based appointment administered by PSI. The national portion includes 80 scored multiple-choice questions with 120 minutes allotted. The South Carolina state portion includes 40 scored multiple-choice questions with 80 minutes allotted (200 minutes total). About five to ten experimental items may appear but do not count toward your score and do not consume exam time. PSI reports pass or fail for each section independently. You must achieve at least 70% on the national section (56 of 80 correct) and at least 70% on the state section (28 of 40 correct). A strong national performance cannot offset a failing South Carolina-law result.

• Pay the $50 initial licensure fee (or $25 for Georgia and North Carolina reciprocity candidates), submit a Supervision Attestation form, and affiliate with a South Carolina licensed broker after SCREC confirms all requirements.
